Q. Who quarterbacked the Miami Dolphins to victory in the game that gave coach Don Shula his 325th win to make him the all-time winningest coach in NFL history?
A. Doug Pederson
Miami had already lost Dan Marino for the season and then lost backup Scott Mitchell, when he separated his left shoulder on a scramble early in the third quarter.
The Dolphins trailed by 14-13 at halftime when rookie quarterback Doug Pederson entered. The Miami defense shut out the Eagles the rest of the game and Pederson moved the Dolphin offense enough for two Pete Stoyanovich field goals, giving Miami the win.
